Se dici aperitivo, dici Milano. Tutto è partito dopo la seconda Guerra Mondiale dal bar Jamaica ed è andato avanti durante gli anni ’60 e ’70 fino a quando è arrivata “la Milano da bere” degli anni ’80. Negli anni ‘90 la storia dell’aperitivo continuava e tutti a Milano, tra le 19.00 e le 21.00, si incontravano e bevevano un aperitivo: si pagava da bere e si mangiava gratuitamente. Questa lunga storia è arrivata fino a noi e ancora oggi la gente si incontra e “fa” l’aperitivo. È un aperitivo diverso da quello del passato: ci sono ancora tante pagine bianche da riempire con storie dell’aperitivo...
Aperitivo significa incontrarsi dopo il lavoro, chiacchierare, conoscere le novità ed essere sempre aggiornati su ciò che accade in una città aperta e moderna come Milano.
Aperitivo significa gustare nuove sperimentazioni e godersi la serata. E l’aperitivo può essere l’occasione per parlare in Italiano,
mettere alla prova le tue competenze e incontrare l’insegnante e altri studenti. Si, un vero aperitivo in lingua.
Sarà l’occasione per goderti l’aperitivo in posti diversi e imparare a parlare e usare la lingua italiana.

Speaking Italian and enjoying an aperitif.
If you say aperitif, you say Milan. It all started after World War II from the Jamaica café and went on during the ’60s and ’70s until when “la Milano da bere” was born in the ’80s. In the 90s the story of the aperitif continued and everybody in Milan, between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm, met and drank an aperitif: they paid the drink and ate for free. This long story comes to us and still nowadays people meet and drink aperitif.
They are different from the past: empty pages are still to be written about the aperitif...
Aperitif means meeting after work, talking, getting news and being always up to date with all that’s new in such a modern and open city as Milan is. Aperitif means tasting new experimentation and enjoying the coming evening.
And aperitif can be the occasion to speak Italian, to test your competence and to meet with your Italian teacher and other students. Yes, a real “language aperitif”!
You will get the chance to have your aperitif in different places and learn and practise Italian language.
